I do agree that people who think they can tell others what to and what not to read because it has "profound" language is very irrational and not up to those who think they can dictate one another.
I do agree with this because if the kids parents don't want them to learn a certain something,than they have the right to pull their child out.
No,I do not agree with this rule at all. Because that parent can't tell the teacher what to do. And if the parent doesn't like that, then she should just have their kid not read that book. Parents have to get real, they're things in life your not gunna want for your child, but your kid is gunna come across no mater what. So to these parents, I say grow up and let your kids do want they want, not what you want for them.
No they princapal or teacher should not have to eplain these books, bcause its part of thekids chariculum, and if the book hase something to do with a sertain topic, they should read it, to learn more about that topic.
No i dont think the book should be dismissed. Though if the princapal doesn't want it in the carriculum, then you should get rid of it. But come on, your kid is in highschool, let him do what he wants to do, and stop controlling him. The parents should just stay out of it.
